Dr V. Rajendran’s journey began in the by-lanes of Edayappatty a small village in Namakkal Disrict. Taught in vernacular medium, he never let environment dictate his destiny but seized every spare moment to up-skill himself towards successful education.

A pious and orthodox family from agriculture and husbandry ancestry contributed greatly in reaping achievements throughout his life. A Renowned academician & administrator, possesses more than 30 years of service in Administration, Teaching and Research & Innovations.

He created a legacy that impacted the lives of students and staff of Institutes of higher learning as Professor, Chairman, Dean, Director R&D;, President, Member of various councils and academic bodies.

His career accomplishments, managerial and leadership skills, ability to navigate a challenging environment, were instrumental in achieving his designation as the Principal in Dr N.G.P Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Dr Rajendran and his better half Mrs.Sasikala Rajendran have shared responsibility of nurturing their son and daughter. They were raised with social values and ethnicity, which is relevant through their impeccable career in rendering humane services as promising doctors. His son Dr. R. Sudhir Venkatesh is currently pursuing his Master’s in General Medicine at Madras Medical College, Chennai (an Assistant Surgeon-General in the Department of Public health and Preventive medicine, Govt. of Tamil Nadu) and married to Dr P.Nivedha M.D., Psychiatry and his daughter Dr. R. Kavi Sowmya is currently pursuing her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Madras Medical college, Chennai and she’s married to Dr. S. Aravind, who is currently pursuing his Masters in Radiodiagnosis at GKNM, Coimbatore.
